6 months and counting...

We had our 24-25 week checkup and everything is great. As with Alexander, this has been a quiet and uneventful pregnancy and we struggle to find things to talk with the doctor about. It's great!

thanks!

just a quick note to say thanks to those of you who are using the Amazon link to buy stuff online. We just received another payment and while it's not a ton of moola it definitely helps (this one buys a case of diapers!) btw - this is still available:

i kid. that'd totally be wasted on me right now. wait until the boy starts school...

cookie monster!

amazon

a few months back, the state of california passed a law requiring online retailers like amazon to start collecting tax from purchasers in california. when it was signed into law, amazon cancelled our associates account. since then they've come to an agreement and will begin collecting tax sometime in the future and have re-enabled the associates accounts. as i mentioned when i first put it up, when you buy stuff via the link on the right (through our wish list portal) we get a small cut of the sale as advertising fees (it'll be a little less now as we contribute to the economic recovery of the great state of california!). at the time i didn't think it mattered that much, but we've managed to get a bit of cash that has been nice in offsetting some of the expenses of the little monster we all know and love.

so, should you be buying something online, why not use our account and get amazon to throw us a few bucks for doing so?

or perhaps you're looking for a book for alexander, try children's books!

but anyway, thanks for helping out!

barely a road . . .

thanks to Daddy's handy dandy mapping skills, we were able to avoid the construction on Interstate 10 near Buckeye, AZ, although we off-roaded it on a path that was barely a road! Probably our most exciting drive EVER into Phoenix. Unfortunately, the landscape was much different.

the alex desk, part 2

After he practiced climbing in and out of the chair with mommy only a few times tonight, Alexander showed us that he could get on and off his chair all by himself. let's not forget to push in our chair please! one word: geniosity™.
