Today we headed out for an adventure. Mommy and Daddy decided to bet against the rainy weather and enjoy a few hours today at the San Diego Zoo - Alexander's 1st visit! Thankfully, we were able to beat the rain headed south for a couple hours and AAA was able to see orangutans (pictured here), lions, bears, elephants, and even a horse (among other ameenals)!! We got to see just enough before it started sprinkling.
today was fort day. not bad for a first effort with one sheet.

Alexander got this train last year for Christmas but we hid since he had so many toys already and this was a little kore advanced. He saw it today when we were in his closet so I had to open it open. This picture is about 5 min after I got everything working. Chocolate, George and Spot are in their VIP spots and he's already figured out how to work the remote.
Geniosity in action.
Hung out with Mommy and Daddy's college friends and respective families (Mommy's sorority sisters) this past football Saturday! Liz and Todd have Jared (not pictured), Natalie (not pictured), Gabrielle & Drew. Tasha and Isti have Maté & Maya! They had a wonderful time playing at the park while we watched and cheered on Jared's soccer game and in the incredible playroom at the house. To complete the wonderful day, Cal beat Colorado! GO BEARS!!
on March 11, 2011, there's a post called construction at the park. and on August 24, 2011, our local park was finally officially re-opened with a fantastic new playground for kids of all ages! Abuelita came with us to celebrate and she and daddy colored with Alexander and one of the booths.
Alexander was so excited to hang out with his cousins Michael & Catalina that he insisted on climbing the seat to join them in the back! What a silly lil monkey!

Alexander was goofing around with Grandma & Grandpa yesterday. Picture cracks me up. (Grandparents confirmed that Gpa was very, very, very close by, in case AAA or Albert decided he wanted to get off!)

Alexander, Rebecca and mommies had a beach adventure yesterday at Laguna Beach. It only took us a few hours to get out of the house and get to the beach, but we did it!! We ate lunch, saw lots of birds (even a helicopter that Alexander was pointing at), and played in the sand. We had a wonderful adventure together and look forward to many more.
