last weekend uncle Tas and aunt Helen stopped by with some gifts for Olive. her first dresses! cuteness abounds.

today we got Alexander some regular shoes with a regular sole for when he wants to walk in adverse weather conditions; since he always wants to walk! you can see how many people it takes to get them on a tired little boy!

Die hard Cal fans, we attend a number of football home games every year. With our schedule getting things ready for the baby, the pregnancy classes and more, it was tough getting one in, but we did. The outcome isn't important, what is important is what we bought! We bought some great Cal wear for the guy and his Abuelita Chavarela got him a rugby jersey to match his dad's. The kid is ready!
blue and gold
In what will probably be the first of many, many blue and gold outfits the kid will proudly wear, I was able to coerce Dina into buying this awesome number, sized appropriately to wear during the 2010 season (to compliment his other yet to be purchased, but extensive Cal wear).
Gambling a little that the kid will be on time and not late, Dina had to pull the trigger on these holiday booties:

Blueberry received another gift (all of which his parents are most grateful!). A cousin from Mexico gave him this awesome bear themed jumper.
Now if I could only convince everyone that he’ll need a receiver (compliant with HDMI 1.4 of course) and a blu-ray player (with support for the most recent standard profiles, or a PS3 if unsure) in order for the home theater system to be fully compliant for his education and entertainment needs.

Today, Blueberry received some clothes! Grandma Ariza gave him a couple cute little jumpers (i think that’s the word). I’m sure he’ll look adorable in these (especially as he travels to their house!).
Now we just need to get moving on registration, nursery, etc...

Over the weekend, Blueberry’s Aunt Suzi gave her/him its first clothing - a brand spanking new sixmonthsie (that seems made up, but i’m going with it), with the most appropriate of messages:
Daddy also received his first pre-Father’s Father’s Day gifts, a couple of books on preparation. Good reading and important information for the soon-to-be father!
“The New Dad’s Survival Guide” a fun, enjoyable read about preparing to be a dad and “Dad’s Pregnant Too” a detail (like really detailed) handbook for getting ready! Already through one, but I’ll be spending the next couple odays getting through the next.
