harvest time

grandma says Alexander is a natural born farmer! see he's already harvesting his first crop of Japanese eggplant in Laguna Niguel. he was also very gentle putting the numerous tomatoes grandma & grandpa would hand to him to put in the basket.

look at me! I'm cooking!

alexander helped mommy cook dinner for reals for the first time tonight. he stirred the pot of ravioli like someone's who's been doing it for 20 years! (ok, maybe I exaggerate a tad.) seriously though, for being only 20 months old, he was pretty amazing. he stirred the pot all by himself and was careful not to burn himself, spill or break up the pasta. perhaps we have a chef in the making!

beach adventure

Alexander, Rebecca and mommies had a beach adventure yesterday at Laguna Beach. It only took us a few hours to get out of the house and get to the beach, but we did it!! We ate lunch, saw lots of birds (even a helicopter that Alexander was pointing at), and played in the sand. We had a wonderful adventure together and look forward to many more.

goodnight moon/ buenas noches luna

it's inevitable. this book is as classic as everyone says it is (in English or Spanish - Alexander enjoys both). although, I bet you didn't know that the real point of the story is to find the little mouse on each set of colored page!s Alex can show you were to find the lil mouse each time!

AAA discovers escalators

Alexander quickly picked up how to step on and off the escalators at the Mission Viejo mall today. Of course, having Daddy there to swing him off makes it that much more fun! (I think this was his 6th time riding it up and down, which is 12 times altogether!)
